WA Swim Team Win 8 Medals In Holiday Invite

Warwick Academy’s swimming team began competing in the Queen City Dolphins Holiday Invite in Charlotte where they made a good showing to win eight medals.

In the 13-14 girls 500 yard freestyle final, Marleigh Howes captured the gold medal, with Elanna Fulton claiming the silver medal, and Jorgia White finished in 5th place.

Adriana Argent won the open girls 500-yard freestyle silver medal. In the 13-14 boys 100 yard butterfly, Logan Jones finished in 15th place.

Marleigh Howes won the 13-14 girls 50 yard freestyle silver medal, with Elanna Fulton finishing in 4th place.

During the open girls, 50 yard freestyle Bella Howes claimed the silver medal, while Adriana Argent claimed the bronze medal.

In the open girls 100 yard breaststroke, Daria Desmond finished in 5th place, Bella Howes was in 6th place.

Logan Jones was back in action, this time competing in the 13-14 boys 200 yard backstroke finishing 8th, while Elanna Fulton finished in 4th competing in the 13-14 girls 200 yard backstroke.

The 13-14 girls 200 yard individual medley saw Marleigh Howes claim the gold medal, while Bella Howes finished 6th in the open girls 200 yard individual medley, with Adriana Argent finishing in 9th.

Bermuda claimed the gold medal in the open girls 200 yard individual medley relay, with strong swims from Marleigh Howes – butterfly, Elanna Fulton – backstroke, Daria Desmond – breastroke, and Bella Howes – freestyle.
