BNAA Hosts First Track & Field Meet Of 2023
The Bermuda National Athletic Association hosted their first track and field meet of 2023 at the National Sports Center Flora Duffy Stadium.
The under 20 men’s 300 meter dash saw siblings in action as Seer Carey clocked a winning time of 39:17, with his brother Saj Carey clocking a time of 39.95 finishing second.
J’Auza James won the under 20 men’s long jump with a top leap of 5.50m and Aaron Lugo won the under 17 men’s long jump with a leap of 4.40m.
In the under 17 women’s 1000 meter, Run Azari Jones clocked a winning time of 3:30.96, Fenella Wightman was second in 3:33.72, and Aria Mosquera finished third with a time of 3:39.17.
Lashee Jones won the under 17 women’s 60 meter dash clocking 8.12, Hannah Dill was second in 8.63 and Daizha Butterfield finished third with a time of 8.87.
