Footballers in the Premier Division and First Division were in action, with Hamilton Parish and the Devonshire Colts earning wins.
Premier Division: Boulevard Blazers 1 – Hamilton Parish 2
At the BAA Field, Hamilton Parish edged the Boulevard Blazers 2 – 1. Kion Knights gave Hamilton Parish the lead in the first minute, and they carried that lead to the break.
The Boulevard Blazers drew level in the 60th minute when Deshun Hendrickson found the back of the net, but Mauriq Hill scored for Hamilton Parish in the 85th minute and that proved to be the winner.
First Division: Somerset Eagles 0 – Devonshire Colts 5
At the Somerset Cricket Club, the Devonshire Colts defeated the Somerset Eagles 5 – 0.
The Devonshire Colts took the lead in the 14th minute through a Keino Burch goal, and they held that lead to the half-time break.
Two minutes into the second half, Teniko Eve doubled the Hamilton Parish lead. Kiuno Cann then made it 3 – 0 to the Devonshire Colts in the 55th minute, and one minute later it was 4 – 0 when Jorj Dublin found the back of the net. The fifth goal came in the 66th minute when K’Zhai Bailey scored.
