Athene Life Sponsor Pee Wee Cricket Program
The Executive of the Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] announced a partnership with Athene Life Re. as the title sponsor of the 2023 Athene Pee Wee ‘Have-A-Go’ CRIIIO Cricket Programme, which will begin on Saturday, March 4 at the Bermuda College Gymnasium and will continue over a period of four weeks.
Natasha Scotland Courcy, General Counsel and Chief Operations Officer at Athene, said: “We are excited to sponsor the 2023 Pee Wee Programme and support the development of youth cricket in Bermuda.
“Athene is committed to investing in our community and bettering the lives of Bermuda’s youth through sport in a safe and fun environment”.
Kellie Smith, BCB 1st Vice-President and Development Chairman: “On behalf of the Bermuda Cricket Board I would like to thank Athene Life Re. for supporting the Pee Wee Programme. Pee Wee is a fun, engaging entry-level programme that introduces children to cricket.
“Playing cricket at an early age enhances a child’s development, motor, social skills and confidence. We are pleased to be working with Athene once again for the 2023 cricket season.”
