Bermuda Cricket Team Defeat Argentina
The Bermuda cricket team continued their impressive form in the T20 World Cup Sub Regional Americas Qualifiers in Argentina, winning their second match this weekend, this time defeating Argentina by 110 runs.
Bermuda won the toss and elected to bat. They score 220/2 in their allotted 20 overs, with Tre Manders the top scorer with 74, his runs came off 41 balls, he hit 9 fours and 4 sixes, while Delray Rawlins scored 67 not out off 25, which saw him hit 4 fours and 6 sixes, and Terryn Fray scored 62 not out off 48 balls he hit 6 fours and 2 sixes. Alan Kirschaum was the pick of the Argentina bowlers with figures of 4-0-44-1.
In reply Argentina scored 110/9 in their allotted 20 overs, but they would fall short by 110 runs, Alejandro Ferguson was the top scorer with 32, Rawlins was the pick of the Bermuda bowlers with figures of 4-0-11-4, while Malachi Jones bowled 4-0-23-3.
