BF&M: New $20,000 Postgraduate Scholarship
BF&M Limited announced the launch of the BF&M Postgraduate John Wight Scholarship, in honour of former Chairman and CEO, John Wight.
Abigail Clifford, Group President and CEO of BF&M stated, “At BF&M, we believe that everyone should have access to higher education. Given the value John placed on community and education, it was fitting to create our first BF&M scholarship for Bermuda in his honour.”
John Wight expressed, “I am grateful to be given such a thoughtful retirement gift, one which will have a lasting impact in our community. Education is very important to me and I look forward to meeting with the scholarship recipient.”
A spokesperson said, “The $20,000 scholarship is designed to help residents realise their postgraduate academic goals. It is open to Bermudians and Permanent Resident’s Certificate [PRC] holders pursuing a postgraduate degree or diploma in any field of their choosing.
“We encourage all interested applicants to apply online by visiting bermudascholarships.com. Deadline to apply is April 30th.”
