Conyers Joins BSX As Trading Member
Conyers announced that “following the recent admission of Conyers Securities [Bermuda] Limited as a trading member of the Bermuda Stock Exchange [BSX], Conyers has expanded its Bermuda corporate services to include BSX listing sponsorship.”
“We have enjoyed working with the BSX as legal counsel to BSX issuers. We look forward to our new role as Trading Member advising new and existing BSX issuers on the BSX listing and trading requirements and helping to bring new securities to the Exchange,” said Conyers director Marcello Ausenda, head of Conyers’ corporate practice in Bermuda.
Greg Wojciechowski, chief executive officer of the BSX, welcomed Conyers Securities [Bermuda] Limited to the BSX at an admission ceremony on 22 February 2023.
“We are delighted to welcome Conyers Securities [Bermuda] Limited as a new trading member to BSX and are excited to expand our relationship to provide internationally recognised listing services and support to Conyers’ clients,” Mr. Wojciechowski said.
A spokesperson said, “Conyers has advised clients of the legal requirements to list securities on the BSX for many years. This new service capability means that Conyers can provide a full service to BSX issuers: legal services, corporate services, accounting services and now also listing sponsorship services.
“As a BSX trading member, Conyers Securities [Bermuda] Limited can sponsor every type of listing on the BSX, including primary equity listings, which will be particularly useful for dual listings involving the BSX. The admission of Conyers Securities [Bermuda] Limited to trading membership of the BSX means that Conyers is one of just two Bermuda law firms whose affiliates are BSX trading members.
