Moore Helps Break Pool Record In Relay
Madelyn Moore and her Virginia Tech women’s swimming teammates started off the Virginia Tech Invitational setting multiple top 10 times and breaking five pool records at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center.
In the women’s 200 yard freestyle relay, Moore, Carmen Weiler Sastre, Emily Claesson and Caroline Bentz finished at 1:28.97, making this the third fastest time in Virginia Tech history and a new pool record.
In addition, the Bermudian swimmer won the women’s 50 yard freestyle touching the wall in a time of 22.37, making fifth in Virginia Tech’s top ten times.
