Snooker: Sandys Wins ICS Cup Semi-Final
Sandys Boat Club defeated the Warwick Workmen’s Club Two team 3 – 2 in their ICS cup semi-final battle at the Warwick Workmen’s Club.
Sandys Boat Club captain Martin Siese took an early lead when he defeated Warwick’s Ray DeSilva 45-39
Warwick Workmen’s Club Two captain Steven Bremar then leveled the match at 1 – 1, overcoming Sandy’s Richie Beale 69–40.
The next game saw Warwick Workmen’s Club Two’s Scott Barnes defeat Sandys’ Peter Bromby after making a 43 break, leaving Bromby requiring Snooker, Barnes would win 56-11.
Pau Fedden drew Sandys level at 2 – 2, when he defeated Warwick Workmen’s Club Two’s Zane DeSilva in the next game 56-29.
Ray DeSilva & Bromby were drawn in the Tie Breaker, Bromby eventually sealed the win for Sandy’s, 52-28.
