Bermuda Defeat Anguilla In Women’s Football
Bermuda’s Under 20 Women’s National Team took to the Estadio Nacional Stadium in Nicaragua to face Anguilla in their third CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Championship Qualifying match, with Bermuda making a strong showing to claim a 3-1 win.
Anguilla took a 1 – 0 after 17 minutes when Cycoiah Wattley scored, then Robin-Valana Pearman equalized for Bermuda in the 66th minute, in the 79th minute Bermuda went ahead 2 – 1 when Jahni Simmons hit an impressive long range shot, and then Azari Easton made it 3 – 1 for Bermuda in the 90th minute.
