DeSilva-Andrade Wins Silver At World Cup

Yushae DeSilva-Andrade claimed a silver medal for Bermuda at the Boccia World Cup in Montreal.
DeSilva-Andrade defeated Angeline Lawas, of Malaysia, in the semi-final, winning a thrilling tie-breaker after the game finished 5-5 before facing Yee Ting Jeralyn Tan, of Singapore, in the final, losing a hard-fought match 5-3.
The competition was DeSilva-Andrade’s first competitive outing of the year.
