Tennis: Phillips Advances In Singles & Doubles
Daniel Phillips began competing in the J200 Woodbridge 2023 Tennis Tournament in Canada.
In his first round singles match, Phillips took on Canadian Denny Bao, who is ranked 176th in the world.
Phillips needed three sets, but advanced to the second round after winning 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.
He also advanced in the doubles while playing with Santiago Cote from Mexico, with the pair defeating Canadian duo Connor Church and Stephane Kamendje 6-0, 6-2.
