Bermuda Featured On Jeopardy Game Show
Bermuda was featured on a recent episode of the game show Jeopardy!, with a contestant correctly naming the island as the correct reply.
For $400, the show gave the answer “About 700 miles southeast of NYC and home to around 70,000 people, it’s known for its shorts and some troublesome triangulation,” to which a contestant correctly answered “what is Bermuda?”
The category – “Love Island U.K.” – also featured references to the other British Overseas Territories including the Falkland Islands, the Cayman Islands, Pitcairn, and Montserrat.
This isn’t the first time Bermuda has been featured on the game show, with references to the island dating back to 1984.
