Two Wine Tasting Events Set For Next Month
Wine Diva Select will be holding two wine tasting events next month.
A spokesperson said, “Wine lovers, get ready for an unforgettable evening of sensory indulgence with Wine Diva Select. Jo-Rena, Bermuda’s Wine Diva has announced the latest series by Wine Diva Select. Each experience, starting in July, will take you through an in-depth tasting of three exquisite wines, all made from a single grape varietal.
“The event will take place in a free, relaxed, and comfortable environment, within the Bermuda National Library, to which a portion of proceeds will be donated to the Friends of the Bermuda National Library, registered charity #306.
“Perfect for savoring each sip and discovering the unique characteristics of each wine. To start, guests will be introduced to the grape variety, Chardonnay [on July 5th] and Pinot Noir [on July 19th], its typicality, and what to expect from each glass based on how it is made.
“As usual, a few myths will be debunked during this process, and guests will have the opportunity to explore each aroma and flavor profile in depth. A printed guide will be provided to help guests take notes and remember their favorites, with the option of an electronic version for convenience.
“The evening will culminate with a wine pairing of a relaxed dinner served, perfectly matched to the wines. Guests with dietary restrictions are encouraged to advise in advance, by emailing winedivaselect@gmail.com after they book, or replying to the confirmation email with their restrictions listed. This is so that the necessary arrangements can be made to accommodate them.”
