Gosling’s Limited Unveils Updated Logo

Gosling’s Limited, Wine & Spirits Merchant, today announced that the company will be “transitioning to a modified Script Logo with thick, unique under-stroke swatches in their emblematic red hue.”

A spokesperson said, “The Gosling’s Limited logo has had several overhauls in its notable 217-year history of operating in Bermuda.”

“We looked to the archives to see how Gosling’s Limited communicated throughout the centuries. This included company logos, letterheads, shop signs, newspaper articles, etc. The 2023 update of the logo incorporates pieces from our storied history as we embark on the next generation of Bermuda’s oldest privately owned business,” disclosed Malcolm Gosling JR, Vice President of Gosling’s Export Bermuda, who represents the 8th generation of the Gosling’s family.

The spokesperson said, “The updated logo was inspired by the complete revamp and technical improvement of the company’s e-commerce platform – goslingslimited.com which features Gosling’s full inventory offering in addition to Wine Club opportunities, currents events, product collections, special offers and links to the rental of their elegant Wine Cellar facility.”

“As we move into a more digital age and are expanding the company into new avenues, we wanted something fresh that would still reflect and represent our long-standing history in Bermuda,” explained Director of Operations Victoria Esposito, who also represents Generation 8.

“With all the new changes we have been embracing at Gosling’s, such as our new website, new opportunities, and new partnerships, we decided the company logo needed a refresher to represent all these monumental changes.”

The spokesperson said, “Along with the inclusions mentioned above, in the past two years, Gosling’s has also developed its charitable components. They have initiated the Flora Fund, a collaborative effort with Olympic gold medalist Flora Duffy and Flora Gold Rum, introduced ecoSPIRITS, which is a closed-loop spirits distribution service developed to reduce the production costs and carbon footprint of spirits and they also work closely with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada via a variety of Gosling’s Rum activations and events to raise funds aiding in the support of blood cancer patients and their families both during and after treatment and also the research into developing treatments for these patients.”

“The Eighth Generation wants to continue the legacy of Gosling’s Limited while simultaneously incorporating new technology, meaningful community and environmental support, and relevant products and services,” added Malcolm Gosling JR.

The spokesperson said, “The retail team will dress in an all-new navy polo shirt offering a more polished presentation. At the same time, the Warehouse Team will be sporting red t-shirts, with the managerial team differentiated by heather grey polo shirts. All event materials will always feature the new logo for continuity in brand recognition. Delivery vehicles and official documents, including invoices, signage, etc., have been arranged to be transitioned to the new logo, to be completed by year-end.”
