Powerade 5K Scheduled For Sunday July 2nd
The Powerade 5K is scheduled for Sunday, July 2nd, with the running and walking event starting and finishing at Butterfield & Vallis, Orange Valley in Devonshire.
A spokesperson said, “The race will start nice and early with the walkers setting off at 7.45am and the runners at 8.00am.
“All participants will receive a Powerade goodie bag plus all finishers [who are present] will be eligible for the draw with prizes including Powerade rolling coolers, speakers and ice chests.
“Prizes will be awarded in the following categories – 1st 2nd & 3rd Male & Female runner – under 18; 18 – 29; 30 – 39; 40 – 49; 50 – 59; 60-69; 70+; 1st 2nd & 3rd Male & Female walker.
“Registration is online at www.racedayworld.com. All proceeds from this race will go to the Mid Atlantic Athletic Club. Timing is supplied by Bermuda Timing Systems.
“Online entries close at 6.00pm on Saturday, July 1st. Late registration & number pick-up is from 7.00am on raceday [July 2nd] at Butterfield & Vallis at Orange Valley.”
