Bermuda Football Teams Play Warm Up Games

The Bermuda football teams heading to the NatWest International Island Games in Guernsey warmed up for the tournament with wins over English opponents yesterday [July 5].
The Bermuda men’s under-23 team beat Dorset-based non-league side Wimborne Town 2-1 thanks to goals from Jai Bean and Tokia Russell.
Meanwhile, the Bermuda women’s team lost 4-3 to AFC Bournemouth women’s team. LeiLanni Nesbeth scored twice, and Zemira Webb found the net for Bermuda.
Both teams head to Guernsey tomorrow.
