Eva Frazzoni, the Bermuda women’s national team captain, and Hashtag United Women have parted company.

Frazzoni, 25, helped the Essex-based outfit claim the FA Women’s National League Division One South East title last season.

“Eva joined us at the start of last season and has been a calming presence around the squad,” the club posted on Instagram today [July 28]. “With her valued experience and kind personality, she fit in with ease and will be missed next season.

“With ten goal contributions and a player of the month during her spell at the tags, we will remember her fondly on the pitch as well.

“Everyone at the club would like to wish her luck in her next venture. Thanks for a fantastic season, Eva!”

The midfielder led Bermuda to the gold medal at the NatWest International Island Games in Guernsey, the Channel Islands, earlier this month.

Frazzoni plays for Somerset Trojans Big Ballers locally and has previously represented the University of Essex and the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York.
