Football: Bermuda’s Women Through To Finals
Bermuda’s women’s football team notched a 1-0 victory over the Isle of Man today [July 13] in the semi-finals at the Island Games, earning them a spot in the finals and guaranteeing either a silver or gold medal. LeiLanni Nesbeth scored the lone goal of the game in the second half to give Bermuda the momentous win. The men’s U23 team were also in action today in the semi-finals where they were defeated by a score of 2-0 by Ynys Mon, so the Bermuda U23 team will play in the bronze medal match.
