Former Bermuda Resident Wins Three Golds
Former island resident Jamie-Lee Wright has claimed three gold medals in cycling at the Island Games in Guernsey.
Wright, who competes for Guernsey, won the women’s road race today in 2hr 00min 45sec, helping her island claim team gold.
“It was great; we couldn’t have asked for a better result,” Wright told BBC Channel Islands.
On Monday, Wright finished fifth in the women’s individual time-trial to help Guernsey win team gold.
Wright lived in Bermuda for several years, working as an audit manager for an accounting firm.
