July 23: Lane Closure On South Road In Paget
The Ministry of Public Works advised that “from South Road, from Lover’s Lane continue past Stowe Hill and up until South Road Roundabout, will undergo sidewalk maintenance by the Parks Department and a lane will be closed for motorists.
A Government spokesperson said, “The works will commence on Sunday, July 23rd, 2023 from 6:30am until 2:30pm.
“Lane closure will only be in the east-bound lane. Motorists are advise to use Stowe Hill as a Detour route to continue into Hamilton.
“There will be no lane closure to the west bound lane of South Road at this location.
“Motorists are advised to plan accordingly.
“The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologises for any inconvenience that may result.
“Should there be any questions regarding the partial lane closure, please contact Terry-Lynn Thompson at Parks Department on #747-1263.”
