The Colt Cup Match event was held today [July 30] at the St. George’s Cricket Club, with St. George’s claiming the victory.
The Somerset Cricket Club batted first and were bowled out for 156, Jaiden Manders was the top scorer with 34, while his opening partner Sharye Tavares added 33, Q’Shai Darrell was the pick of the St. George’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 13-2-31-5.
In reply Darrell led St. George’s Cricket Club in the batting department scoring 68, he hit 9 fours, and 3 sixes off 50 deliveries, as St. George’s Cricket Club scored 160/5, Jarryd Richardson added 48, Dominic Sabir was the pick of the Somerset Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 10-2-33-2.
