Three Vehicle Collision In Hamilton Parish
[Updated] A three vehicle collision – involving a motorcycle, minibus and car – occurred on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish today [July 14].
A police spokesperson said, “A three vehicle collision was reported on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish, near Panorama Drive, around 1:20pm today. Apparently a motorcycle, minibus and car were involved.
“The rider of the motorcycle is understood to have sustained a leg injury and has been transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.
“Traffic diversions are currently in effect in the area, while inquiries are conducted at the scene.
“Any witnesses are encouraged to call 211 as soon as possible.
“An update will be provided when more information is available.”
Update 8:08pm: A police spokesperson said, “The male motorcyclist injured in a reported three vehicle collision that occurred around 1:20pm Friday, 14th July 2023 on North Shore Road, Hamilton parish, near Panorama Drive, continues to receive medical treatment at the hospital.
“At last check, his leg injury is considered non-life threatening.
“Traffic in the area was diverted for approximately two hours while the scene was processed.
“Any witnesses are once again encouraged to call 211 as soon as possible.”
