U15 Football Team For Concacaf Championship

The Bermuda Football Association has announced the final Under-15 boys’ team selected to represent Bermuda at the 2023 Concacaf Under-15 Championship in Curacao.

A spokesperson said, “With less than two weeks until the fourth edition of the Concacaf Under-15 Boys Championship competition, Bermuda Under-15 Boy’s National Team head coach Vashun Blanchette has named the 18 players who will represent Bermuda in Willemstad, Curaçao. Bermuda was drawn to play in League B with 15 other national teams that were ranked second highest based on the Concacaf Men’s Under-17 Ranking as of February 2023.

U15B Squad List 2023 Concacaf Championship Bermuda July 28 2023

When asked his expectation of the team he has selected for the the 2023 Concacaf Under-15 Boy’s Championship, Blanchette had this to say, “As we approach the 2023 Concacaf U15B Championship, my expectation is for the team to demonstrate effort, cohesiveness, and the bravery to be committed to our preferred style of play.

“Our goal is to consistently perform at the level which we are capable to give us the best opportunity of being competitive during the course of the tournament.”

“League B consists of 16 teams. Those teams include Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Bonaire, Cayman Islands, Curaçao, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Martinique, Nicaragua, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Suriname.

“Bermuda was drawn in Group G and will face off against Aruba Belize and the Cayman Islands.

“The match schedule for Team Bermuda is below.

  • August 6 vs Belize
  • August 7 vs Aruba
  • August 8 vs Cayman Islands

“Our U15B team is looking to finish at the top of their group to qualify through to the quarterfinals.
