Car Driver Leaves Scene After Man Injured
The police are investigating an incident in which a car driver left the scene after injuring a 55-year-old man inside the parking area of the Ducking Stool Park on North Shore Road.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 5:10 p.m. on Thursday, August 24th, 2023, police received a report that a 55-year-old male had been struck by a grey coloured Chevrolet motorcar inside the parking area of the Ducking Stool Park, North Shore Road, Pembroke.
“The motorcar driver did not stop, proceeded east along North Shore Road and made good their escape.
“The victim was attended to at the scene by EMTs, before being taken by ambulance to King Edward Hospital for treatment to his injuries, which were not considered life-threatening.
“An investigation into this incident has now begun and anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Garic Swainson at 247-1744 or gswainson@bps.bm
