Motorcyclist & Pedestrian Injured In Collision

A motorcyclist and a pedestrian were both injured and transported to hospital on Tuesday night [June 27] following a collision on St. David’s Road near the junction with Stocks Road.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 10pm Tuesday, June 27th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported collision on St. David’s Road in St. George’s near the junction with Stocks Road, involving a motorcyclist and a pedestrian.

“The 52-year-old male rider and the 38-year-old male pedestrian were injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.

“Both men are believed to be from St. George’s.

“At last check this morning [June 28th] the motorcyclist had been treated and discharged while the pedestrian was expected to be admitted to a general ward.

“Inquiries continue and any witnesses are encouraged to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
