Reminder: Observe Airport Safety Restrictions
Skyport today issued a reminder to the public about the restrictions surrounding the LF Wade International Airport’s perimeter.
A spokesperson said, “Parking or erecting structures within three meters of the airport’s perimeter fencing is strictly prohibited by law, as it poses a safety and security risk. Strict adherence to these regulations is crucial for maintaining the airport’s security and ensuring public safety. Non-compliance may lead to property removal.
“Recognizing that camping along Kindley Field Road is a beloved Cup Match tradition for many, Skyport asks that all campers and the public at large be particularly mindful of these safety and security restrictions over the holiday period, and wishes everyone an enjoyable Cup Match weekend.”
