Charlotte Millington Wins Gold In Time-Trial

Bermuda rider Charlotte Millington continued her success at the Junior Caribbean Cycling Championships after winning the gold medal in the women’s 10K time-trial in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic, yesterday [September 16].
Millington, who competes in the 15 to 18 age group, also won gold in the time-trial and road race at the previous championships at the same venue last year.
“Huge congratulations to Charlotte Millington, our 2x Caribbean time-trial champion!” the Bermuda Bicycle Association said,
“Charlotte secured her victory today at the Junior Caribbean Cycling Championships, once again dominating the juvenile women category. Her determination and talent continue to shine!
“Tomorrow [September 17], she gears up for the road race, and we have no doubt she’ll deliver an equally impressive performance.”
Also representing Bermuda at the championships are Skye Ferguson [women 15 to 18], and Cameron Morris and Thomas Quarterly [men 17 to 18].
