New BSoA Exhibitions Set To Open Tonight
New art exhibitions will be opening at the Bermuda Society of Arts [BSoA] on the top floor of City Hall this evening [Sept 22].
A spokesperson said, “Cowpass2, an exhibition by Dr. Edwin Smith, Stephan Smith, and Micrae Smith, had a delayed opening due to Hurricane Lee. We are excited to invite the public to join us from 5pm to 7pm this evening on the top floor of City Hall, which is wheelchair accessible.”
A flyer for the event says, “Cowpass2 is the sixth mixed media exhibition by artsmithsbda, and second directly inspired by our home neighbourhood. We, as a three-person collective, consisting of father and sons, Edwin, Stefan and Micrae Smith, have on display photography, paper art, paintings, and a tape installation that speak to perspective and identity.
“We exhibited the first Cow Pass exhibition, also at the BSoA, 21 years ago.”
A ‘call to artists’ flyer says, “Artists are encouraged to submit artwork that portrays connections between memories, muses, experiences, landscapes, objects, people, etc.
- Submission Deadline: Wed Oct 18, 2023
- Exhibition Opening: Fri Oct 20, 2023
“Submit at bsoa.bm/exhibition-entry-submission. Email info@bsoa.bm for more information.”
