Field Hockey: Budgies Defeat Ravens
The Budgies came from a goal down to defeat the Ravens 4 – 1 in field hockey. The Ravens took the lead in the 3rd minute when Grace Lightowler scored a field goal. The Budgies pulled level at 1 – 1 when Yvonna Osborne scored a field goal. In the 35th minute, Georgia Harris scored another field goal to give the Budgies a 2 – 1 lead. In the 44th minute, Lakae Tavares scored from a penalty corner, extending the Budgies’ lead to 3 – 1. Harris sealed the victory with her second field goal in the 56th minute, making the final score 4 – 1.
