Former Top Referee Kari Seitz To Visit Island
Kari Seitz, a former top female referee, will visit the island for a meet-and-greet event organised by the Bermuda Football Association’s Referees Committee.
Seitz, the FIFA head of refereeing for women, will be at the Clyde Best Centre of Excellence from 6.30 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday [October 11].
The American refereed in four Women’s World Cups and three Olympic Games before retiring in 2013 after a 28-year career.
In 2016, she began working for FIFA, managing the training of female referees worldwide.
