Photos & Video: Scenic Eclipse II Cruise Ship
The Scenic Eclipse II — a luxury cruise ship that accommodates 228 passengers and boasts an array of amenities, including two helipads and a submarine — made its first visit to Bermuda, stopping in both Hamilton and St George’s.
The Bermuda Government posted the first two photos below saying, “This week, Hon Wayne Furbert, the Minister of Transport, boarded the Scenic Eclipse II to extend a warm welcome to Senior Captain Erwan Le Rouzic and his crew on their inaugural visit to Bermuda. The Scenic Eclipse II docked overnight in both the City of Hamilton and the Town of St George.
“This luxury cruise ship accommodates 228 passengers and boasts an array of amenities, including ten distinct dining options, six bars and lounges, two helipads, and a submarine that takes guests on a journey below the ocean’s surface.
“During this visit, twenty-eight guests disembarked in Bermuda, while an additional forty-five guests arrived at L. F. Wade International Airport on October 17 to embark on the ship.
“To mark the occasion, Minister Furbert held an Inaugural Plaque exchange, joined by Dwayne Caines, the CEO of the City of Hamilton, representatives from Meyer Agency, and officials from Marine and Ports Services.”
