Police Appeal: Help Locate 48-Year-Old [Found]
[Updated] The police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 48-year-old Mema Diarra Devent saying there “is concern for the wellbeing of Ms. Devent, as she is usually in regular contact with loved ones, but hasn’t been heard from since she was last seen around 3:45pm Wednesday, 4th October.”

A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 48-year-old Mema Diarra Devent.
“Ms. Devent is described as dark complexioned, 5 feet 9 inches tall of slim build, weighing approximately 140 pounds with short hair.
“It is understood that she was last seen in the Cedar Avenue, City of Hamilton area on Wednesday, 4th October 2023 wearing a grey short sleeved shirt, black pants, white & blue sneakers, with a black durag on her head.
“There is concern for the wellbeing of Ms. Devent, as she is usually in regular contact with loved ones, but hasn’t been heard from since she was last seen around 3:45pm Wednesday, 4th October.
“Anyone with information on the whereabouts of 48-year-old Mema Diarra Devent is asked to call 211 as soon as possible.”
Update Oct 10, 9.35am: A police spokesperson said, “48-year-old Mema Diarra Devent, who was yesterday reported missing, has now been located safe and well.
“Thank you for your efforts in helping to locate her.”
