SPCA To Host Annual ‘Paws To The Park’
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals [SPCA] will be hosting our annual ‘Paws to the Park’ fundraiser on Sunday, October 29 at Riddell’s Bay.
A spokesperson said, “Our event is a family friendly, fun-filled, Halloween-themed walk around Riddell’s Bay where kids and animals can collect treats to fill their goody bags. There will be a fun castle for the kids, raffle draws, some great vendors, free giveaways, and prizes for best dressed.
“Some of our prizes include: a two-night stay at Hamilton Princess with breakfast included; $250 gift card from Island Restaurant group for up to four people; $100 gift card from Pet Stop; gift basket from Noah’s Ark; dog cookies from Brew; and so much more! Don’t forget to bring cash to enjoy all that we have on offer.
“We are also appealing to local clubs, workplaces, etc, who might want to be involved with the trick or treating out on the course or any of our other volunteer opportunities. Additionally, we still have space for any vendors that might be interested in selling at the event. For information on how you can get involved, please contact education@spca.bm.
“This fundraiser is vital for us to raise as much money as possible to help with our overall operating costs to enable us to continue being a valuable resource for the community and the animals who need us the most. This is a community event, bringing people and their dogs together to have some fun.
“To take part, people must register via our website. There is one goody bag per registration and participants are encouraged to bring cash to enter our raffle and enjoy many of our vendor stalls. We look forward to seeing you!”
