Youth Groups To Host Fundraising Car Wash
The Bermuda Boys Brigade and Church Girls’ Brigade are having their annual Car Wash and Christmas Sale, which includes holiday decorations and gifts, on December 9th from 9am to 1pm at St. Paul’s Church hall & car park in Paget.
A spokesperson said, “All proceeds are for The Family Centre Hardship Fund at BELCO, please help brighten a family’s Christmas while also encouraging young people to do community service before the Christmas season!
“The Car Wash is a great way for our members [who don’t mind getting wet and dirty] to make a difference and also a chance to meet with friends. We are short of mature help at the Car Wash this year and are appealing to all Brigade members and supporters – past and present to come together and work with the younger members of both Brigades.
“The Church Girls’ Brigade meet on Thursday evenings and the Boys’ Brigade on Friday evenings in the Christian Education Centre, St. Paul’s Church in Paget.”
