PBS Bermuda Episode Gets Two Emmy Nods
A recent episode of PBS Changing Seas, titled “Bermuda: Life at Ocean’s Edge,” has earned two Suncoast Regional Emmy Award nominations in the environmental/science long-form content and writer – long-form content categories.
The episode focuses on Bermuda’s reefs and shipwrecks and features island-based researchers and scientists from the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences, the Living Reefs Foundation, and the Bermuda Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
It was filmed on the island in November last year and aired in June and is available for free viewing online.
The winners will be announced at the 47th Annual Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards Gala on Saturday, December 2.
The show’s production team are currently in Bermuda filming eagle ray research for a new episode of the upcoming season next year.
