CedarBridge Academy held their annual Mr. & Miss CBA pageant on Saturday, November 11, 2023, with nine young men and women — Logan Farrell, Dekada Gilbert, Elmico Hayward-DeShields, Michael Ray, Skye Charles, Shenice Maylor, Eliana Pinardi, Rihanna Reddicks, and Keishay Smith — competing for the coveted title.
Mr. Dean Foggo, the pageant’s founder, declared, “I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to collaborate with Year Head Ms. Althea Emery, my former student, in organizing this year’s Mr. & Miss CBA pageant.”
“Our theme, “Unapologetically You,” aims to encourage contestants to embrace and showcase their true selves. It was extremely inspiring to see our students express themselves confidently.
“Throughout the night, we saw their personal growth while celebrating the nest of their high school years. Our commitment to ‘Cultivating Bermuda’s Achievers’ is steadfast at CedarBridge Academy. As our students of excellence prepare to embark on new adventures after leaving us in June, I am confident that the experiences obtained during the pageant will serve them well in the future.”

- Best Dressed Female – Shenice Maylor
Principal Kenneth Caesar stated, “The Mr & Miss CedarBridge Academy pageant stands as a thrilling pinnacle in our academic calendar, uniting students from diverse backgrounds in an exhilarating quest for the title of Mr. & Miss CBA. It’s an annual anticipation, a celebration of talent and tenacity that I eagerly await.
“The theme for this school year is, ‘Educate, Innovate, Motivate, and Elevate’ served as the guiding force, igniting the stage with the spirit of progress and achievement. The pageant was an inspiring showcase of each participant’s growth and development, resonating deeply with our school motto “Cultivating Bermuda’s Achievers”.
These students embody the very essence of CedarBridge Academy’s excellence. A heartfelt appreciation extends to the faculty and staff whose unwavering dedication, under the exceptional leadership of S4 Year Head, Ms. Althea Emery, shaped this event into a resounding success”.
