Sakari Famous Sets New National Record
Sakari Famous delivered a standout performance at the Horned Frog Invitational in Fort Worth, Texas, at the weekend, setting multiple records and achieving a new personal best.
Competing unattached, the Bermuda high jumper cleared 1.85 metres to win the event – surpassing her previous national record of 1.84 metres.
Her leap not only set a new Bermudian record but also established meet and facility records at the Lowdon Track and Field Complex.
The 25-year-old expressed her excitement on social media, writing: “Had an amazing jump this past weekend.
“Thank you to my whole support system.”
