Nine Families Enjoy Holiday Cheer From Deloitte
With the help of a $25,000 donation from Deloitte Bermuda, nine Family Centre client families will receive an all-inclusive holiday cheer experience for their entire family.
A spokesperson said, “Earlier this month, staff were paired into teams and purchased gifts, including board games, Barbies, and art supplies. Each family member will also receive their own Christmas stocking filled with essential items and holiday treats— in addition, the firm also provided electricity, grocery vouchers, and a holiday feast for each family.
“The Family Centre is an accredited non-profit organization dedicated to improving families’ lives in Bermuda. They provide innovative, free of charge mental health counselling services for children, teens, and their families, community outreach programmes, and advocacy initiatives. Family Centre is committed to ensuring access to support without barriers. Family Centre facilitates healing, hope, and connection to strengthen families and create a healthier Bermuda for our children.”
Susan Richardson, the Director of Counselling Services at The Family Centre, conveyed her gratitude, stating, “We are deeply thankful for Deloitte’s consistent support for our families in need. The expressions of gratitude and appreciation from our families further highlight the impact of Deloitte’s generosity. The Counselling Team at The Family Centre acknowledges Deloitte’s extraordinary commitment to aiding families facing financial challenges, particularly during the holiday season. For this initiative, our entire staff is divided into groups who are assigned to purchasing presents for one family each.
