A trip in November 2023 by Minister of Home Affairs Walter Roban to London cost $11,330.31, according to a recent listing on the Government’s travel webpage.

The trip duration was listed as from November 14, 2023 – November 16, 2023, and the web page listing said, “Deputy Premier and Minister of Home Affairs, the Hon. Walter H. Roban, JP, MP joined the Premier, the Hon. David E. Burt, JP, MP at the 2023 Joint Ministerial Council [JMC] which was held in London from 14-16 November 2023.

“The Joint Ministerial Council [JMC] which is held every year in London is hosted by the UK Government. It brings together political leaders and representatives from all of the Overseas Territories [OTs] as well as UK Ministers. it provides the principle forum for political dialogue and consultation between the UK and the Overseas Territories [OTs].

“The Joint Ministerial Council [JMC] also meets to promote the security and good governance of their Territories and their sustainable economic and social development.”
