Tennis: BLTA Jingle Bell Slam Day Three
The Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association’s Jingle Bell Slam continued underway at the WER Joell Tennis Stadium, with semi-final matches played on the third day.
In the boys singles 12 semi-finals, Hasan Khan defeated Oliver Anderson in straight sets 6-0, 6-1, while Julian Hands defeated Thedore Tolaram needing a third set tie-breaker 6-3, 1-6, 10-8.
Chloe Mcbrearty advanced to the girls singles 12 final following her 6-1, 6-0 semi-final win over Lee Terceira, she will face Gwennan Matthews who defeated Parra Arianna 6-3, 6-1 in the other semi-final.
Tristan Pettit was crowned the boy’s singles under 14 champion following his 7-6, 6-2 victory over Jaden Jones.
In the Boys Singles 16 Semi-Final, Zachary Mcguire defeated Ryan Kronenberg in straight sets 6-0, 6-0.
