Warwick Academy Swimmers Win Four Medals
Several Warwick Academy swimmers advanced to 2023 NC QCD Holiday Invite Finals on the opening night of competition in the U.S, with the swimmers winning a total of four medals.
Adriana Argent won a bronze medal competing in the girls 500 yard freestyle A final clocking a time of 5:22.65, while Jorgia White finished 7th with a time of 5:36.52.
Logan Jones touched the wall in a time of 1:03.48 to finish 5th in the 13-14 boy’s 100 yard butterfly A final, and Elanna Fulton finished 5th in the girls 100 yard butterfly clocking a time of 1:03.17.
Bella Howes won the girls 50 yard freestyle A final gold medal clocking a time of 24.55, while Fulton won the B final with a time of 25.77.
During the 13-14 boys 200 yard backstroke A final, Jones touched the wall in a time of 2:20.10 to capture the bronze medal, and Fulton won the girls 200 yard backstroke B final clocking 2:23.21.
Daria Desmond finished 8th in the girls 200 yard individual medley B final clocking a time of 2:30.70.
The Warwick Girls 200 yard medley relay team of Fulton, Howes, Desmond, and Argent won the silver medal clocking a time of 1:54.66.
