Footballers in both the Premier Division and First Division were in action this weekend, with the North Village Rams, PhC Zebras, and Boulevard Blazers all earning wins.
Premier Division
North Village Rams 2 – Devonshire Cougars 1
In a top of the table clash, the North Village Rams remain undefeated as they edged the Devonshire Cougars 2 – 1 at the Bernard’s Park.
The North Village Rams got two goals from Troy Tucker to earn the three points, while Domico Coddington scored the lone goal for the Devonshire Cougars.
PHC Zebras 1 – Somerset Trojans 0
At the Somerset Cricket Club, the PHC Zebras edged the Somerset Trojans 1 – 0 to remain one point behind the league leaders.
The lone goal of the game came in the 13th minute when Ryan Hassell scored.
First Division
Vasco 0 – Boulevard Blazers 1
The Boulevard Blazers edged Vasco 1 – 0 at the BAA Field in their First Division match-up.
After a scoreless first half, Shaquille Dill scored the lone goal in the 89th to earn the Boulevard Blazers all three points.
