Hodgkins Kicks Three Penalties For Ravens
Bermudian Jamin Hodgkins kicked three penalties for Bridgend Ravens in their 38-23 defeat to Cardiff in the Welsh Indigo Group Premiership at Cardiff Arms Park on Saturday [January 27].
Hodgkins, who plays fly-off, opened the scoring with a well-struck penalty for the visiting side and landed a second penalty before the interval.
After the break, with his team trailing 14-6, Hodgkins kicked his third penalty, but Cardiff replied with three unanswered tries.
Bridgend fought back with two tries before the final whistle, but it was too little, too late.
Hodgkins is a former Warwick Academy student and now attends Cardiff Met University. He has also represented the Canadian national team.
Bridgend face Ebbw Vale at home in their next match on February 17.
