Youth Sailor Matteo Cervino Wins In Italy
Matteo Cervino won the first ILCA Zonal selection of 2024, in the ILCA 6 class, with first and second place races carried out on Sunday in Livorno, Italy, thereby qualifying him for the first Italian selection of the Italian Cup circuit to be held in the Marina di Ragusa, Sicily, Italy from the 9th-12th February.
He was accompanied by his coach Marco Palmi and the sporting director of the Club del Mare, Federico Galli. The satisfied Campese staff hope to continue the season at this pace. The next round of the ILCA Zonal Championship will be in Castiglione del Lago, Italy on February 25th.
