ECVA Beach Volleyball Championships Underway

The Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association [ECVA] Senior Beach Volleyball Tournament’s men’s and women’s competitions began at Cul de Sac Bay, St Lucia.

In the men’s Group B match, the Bermuda team, consisting of Kyle Hamilton and Benjamin Barnett, overcame Mingo and Fredrick with a score of 2-1. Despite losing the initial game 21-16, Hamilton and Barnett rallied to secure victories in the subsequent matches with scores of 21-8 and 15-13.

On the women’s side, in Group B, the Bermuda duo of Megan Hands and Hailey Moss were defeated by the St. Lucian team of Denila Prospere and Chenao Evans, with set scores of 21-9 and 21-14.

Hands and Moss also competed in a second match on the tournament’s first day, where they triumphed over the pair from St Vincent and the Grenadines, Shanadia Sylvester and Saquanna Duncan, with scores of 21-13 and 21-12.
