Famous Wins Southland Conference Event
Sakari Famous was crowned the 2024 Southland Conference Indoor track and field championship women’s high jump champion.
Senior Famous– representing McNeese State University – defended her championship with a top leap of 1.80m or 5 feet 10.75 inches.
In addition, Famous and her women’s teammates had a solid day finishing third in the team scoring 106 points behind Northwestern State [170] and Lamar [113].
