Fidelis Partners With Whitney Middle School
Fidelis Insurance Holdings – the Bermuda headquartered global specialty insurance business — announced a partnership with Whitney Institute Middle School.
A spokesperson said, “Under the new agreement, Fidelis Insurance will sponsor extra tutoring for certain students between the ages of 11 – 13 for the remainder of the academic year. The students, chosen by teachers at Whitney Institute, have a variety of learning needs and academic potential that could be further expanded by additional tutoring. The first cohort will see five pupils benefit from the tuition, with the agreement providing an opportunity to expand the partnership.”
Commenting on the new initiative, Dan Burrows, Group CEO, Fidelis Insurance Group, said, “I’m delighted to announce this new partnership with Whitney Institute Middle School. “This extra-curricular tutoring will allow our young people to gain additional skills and educational experiences which can help them in their studies, exams and wider future. I’m grateful to Dan and all at Fidelis Insurance for their proactive support of this endeavour.”
