“Globally themed ‘Inspire Inclusion,’ International Women’s Day 2024 is set to encourage and promote the understanding and value of women’s inclusion in all facets of life. The theme emphasizes the importance of belonging, relevance, and empowerment for women everywhere and calls for collective action to forge a more inclusive world.

“Similar to 2023, attendees can expect to enjoy celebratory music and photo opportunities during the networking segment. What will differ for 2024, is that the event will feature “TEDx” style speeches from three inspiring women – Hazel Clarke, Director of Global Sales and Business Development at Bermuda Tourism Authority; Tiffany Paynter, poet, educator and Executive Director of OUT Bermuda; and Kristin White, writer, entrepreneur and community activist – who will share stories of growth and inclusivity with the audience.”

“We are honoured to once again bring the magic of International Women’s Day to Bermuda,” said Juanae Crockwell, Executive Director of Women’s Resource Centre and IWD Bermuda Committee Chair.

“Our goal is to celebrate the achievements of women, inspire inclusion, and advocate for equality. By fostering a sense of belonging, we empower women to be catalysts of change, illuminating the path towards a more inclusive world. We invite attendees to join us in this collective celebration and we hope they will leave the event feeling empowered and ready to make a positive difference in our community.”

The spokesperson said, “Event tickets are available for purchase through the Women’s Resource Centre events page at https://www.wrcbermuda.com/events for a cost of $35 per ticket.
