Latest BNA Youth & Senior Division Results
The Bermuda Netball Association’s league season continued at the Bernard’s Park Netball Courts, however due to inclement weather, only matches in two of the divisions were played.
Under 17 Division
The Phoenix Fire defeated the Dandy Stars 49 – 19 in the lone under 17 match.
Phoenix Fire MVP Kammie Mills scored 26 goals, best attacker Haley Trott added 18 goals, and Sydney Santos scored 5 times. Kylie Smith was named the best defender.
Moriah Bridgewater scored 15 goals for the Dandy Stars, with Sioma Rudo adding 4 goals, Taylor Herzog was named the team’s MVP, and best attacker and the best defender was Zen Joseph.
Senior League
The Storm defeated the Docksiders 43 – 13.
Storm best attacker Nabiilah Nassir led them with 28 goals, Rhianna Reddicks added 10 goals, with Amara Richards scoring 3 times, and Jamir Hatherley scoring twice. The best defender was Rayna Abbott, and the team’s MVP was Shenova Edwards.
Docksiders got 25 goals from Charlotte Evans, best attacker Denise Carpentery added 5 goals and Naomi Szmierek scored once, while Olivia Bugg was named the MVP.
Phoenix defeated the North Village Lady Rams 57 – 26.
Danielle Raynor would lead the Storm to victory with 46 goals, Ebony Cox added 8 goals and best attacker K’xiyae Gibbons scored 3 times, Kiantae Lightbourne was named the team’s MVP and best defender.
North Village Lady Rams MVP Coriah Simmons led them in scoring with 14 goals, and Darrika Simons added 12 goals. The best attacker was Akeyla Furbert, and the best defender was Zhanae Simmons.
